Women and Drones is pleased to announce Dawn Zoldi, CEO of P3 Tech Consulting and 2019 Woman to Watch in UAS honoree will be leading the charge on this year’s milestone 5th anniversary for Women to Watch (WTW) in UAS Global Awards. “This was an easy choice for me,” says Women and Drones CEO Sharon Rossmark. “Dawn brings an incredible amount of passion, drive and experience to this program. I’m excited to see how we soar this year.”
Women and Drones has been named one of the top companies to watch in the UAS industry for the past three years. It is the leading membership organization dedicated to driving excellence in the UAS/UAM industry by advocating for female participation in this dynamic segment of the global economy.
According to Rossmark, “The Woman to Watch program is a great way to elevate the entire drone industry by recognizing those standout individuals and teams who are making a positive difference in it.”
The individual awards recognize honorees in the categories of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Public Safety/Service and Education. The group and team awards include The Innovation Team, The Humanitarian Team and The Global Ambassador awards. Award recipients represent the business leaders, innovators, mentors, visionaries, rising stars and teams making an impact on the drone industry now and in the future.
“I’m honored to pay it forward by leading this effort,” says Zoldi. “Winning this award was life-changing for me. It inspired me to start my company, which continues to grow and thrive.” P3 Tech Consulting connects people and companies who are passionate about advanced tech platforms with the policies, programs, and services they need to succeed.
Each year Women and Drones refines the program to make it increasingly more impactful. Rossmark says, “For this anniversary year, we hope to provide these amazing women with a micro-grant for the first time, under Dawn’s strategic leadership.”
Zoldi adds, “We have initiated a crowdfunding campaign to assist in raising funds for these grants. Please help us reach our goal by donating to the Women to Watch Global Fund.”
The WTW global award nomination period will open on March 8th and coincide with International Women’s Day. Nominations are free. Stay tuned for more. In the meantime, consider giving a little so that others may gain a lot.
